My every day wear, comfortable and warm.
Although the sweater is top quality, the beanie is not. Different color, different yarn, different weave, and it feels cheap. It has lost its elasticity and now does not fit properly on my head -- it droops because of it is not elastic or stretch, like a rag. Very disappointed.
Being bald, I almost always wear a beanie when it's cool or cold and the Donegal is now my go to beanie of choice. Super good value, style and quality.
It came earlier than I expected, which turned out to be very beneficial. I was able to use it on a First day hike (New Year's day) and it was the perfect addition to my kit. It worked better than the synthetic beanie I have worn for years, and kept the below freezing winds off of my bald head. My favorite clothing purchase of 2025.
